Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 - 10 Things Fans Need To See
5. Rebuild Hyrule
One of the most distinct things about Breath of the Wild was its take on Hyrule. In this timeline, Hyrule has been devastated by Calamity Ganon, and most of the land is sparse, unpopulated and under pretty much constant threat.
With Ganon vanquished at the end of Breath of the Wild, this opens up the game for a brand new take on Hyrule itself. A really cool mechanic to see would be for Nintendo to incorporate some way of Link helping to rebuild Hyrule.
For example, you might take on a quest from someone to clear out a nest of monsters, which in turn opens up a new trade route, or something like an outpost. You could even take it one step further, and have Link collect materials and other items to literally rebuild townships (or possibly even Hyrule castle itself!).
Breath of the Wild 2 is technically post-post apocalyptic fiction now, so it'd be great to see the world slowly start to rebuild itself as a result of your actions both from the first game, and in this sequel too.
