Zelda: Breath Of The Wild - 20 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do
6. Use Fire To Create A Paraglider Launch Point
Despite being useful to cook critters and meals, laying down a swathe of fire (started by igniting a patch of grass) will create a sizeable 'updraft' you can ride with your paraglider.
Do this at the edges of cliffs or near bandit camps to literally get the drop on them, or to stand a better chance of covering larger ground by taking off from a higher spot.
Just set a fire going (preferably downhill from your location), run, jump and start gliding. Once you hit the draft caused by the flames you'll immediately get an upward thrust - perfect for sailing right on over those harsher enemies that live in the north-east.
