10 Best Trash Talkers In UFC History

2. Conor McGregor

Now before you get your pitchforks out, the top two of this list are interchangeable, with the superior talker ultimately coming down to personal preference.

Conor McGregor has had uttered countless memorable phrases since his now-famous "60 g's baby" after knocking out Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut.

As 60 g's went from life-changing money to just a drop in the ocean for McGregor, his repertoire of great lines kept getting larger.

It didn't take long to become evident that McGregor was not only a special talent in the cage but also extremely talented on the mic. After beating Max Holloway in just his second UFC fight McGregor displayed the fruits of his labour:

These custom-made suits aren’t cheap. This solid gold pocket watch, three people died making this watch. I need to put people away. I need those big fights. I’m going to end up in debt pretty fast

McGregor has used his mastery of trash-talking to completely psyche his opponents out prior to fights. None more than before his fight with Jose Aldo at UFC 194, where the Brazilian seemed completely out-of-character from the moment he walked out of the rafters.

The super fight with Floyd Mayweather only provided more examples of first-class trash talk, with the pre-fight press conferences featuring McGregor at his abrasive, disparaging, best. While the fight itself didn't quite live up to the war of words that preceded it, McGregor proved that when it comes to fight psychology, he doesn't miss a trick.
