10 Future Liverpool Managers
8. Steven Gerrard
Gerrard's time as a player will come to a close this summer following a dramatic dip in form and his announcement that he will move on to pastures new, but that doesn't mean he won't be back.
Liverpool have successfully gone down this route before, appointing player manager Kenny Dalglish back in 1985. The Scotsman would manage The Reds for six years during his first spell, winning three league titles, one FA Cup, one UEFA Super Cup and four Charity Shields. Imagine if Gerrard managed that: he'd be crowned king of the city immediately.
