10 Impact Signings Bellator Have Made Since 2015

8. Roy Nelson

Nelson signed with Bellator in May 2017, and is rumoured to be facing Jay Ayala at Bellator 183 in September. His addition was big news due simply due to the fact that the heavyweight hadn't fought for a promotion other than the UFC in just under eight years.

Much like the other entrants in this list thus far, Nelson has likely reached his ceiling as he's now 41 years old and has lost five of his last seven fights. Despite this fact, 'Big Country's' potent knockout abilities are still ever-present and he's capable of putting on a show, as evidenced by his three knockout of the night and two performance of the night displays while with the UFC.
