10 Impact Signings Bellator Have Made Since 2015

6. Benson Henderson

A former UFC and WEC lightweight champion, Henderson put pen to paper in February 2016 and immediately stuck himself in the championship conversation.

The well-rounded fighter has battled for both the welterweight and lightweight belts during his time with Bellator, quickly making both divisions more exciting with his high-tempo style. What's more impressive is the fact that he battled a severe knee injury during both bouts but was still able to go toe-to-toe with former welterweight champ Andrey Koreshkov, and former lightweight champ Michael Chandler.

Henderson is expected to make his lightweight division return in September and should be more dangerous than ever.
