10 Lessons Learned From UFC Fight Night 52

6. Rin Nakai Is Giving Up Too Much Height

Rin Nakai is giving up too much height. Way, way too much height. At 5'1 and fighting in the bantamweight division, she spent most of the night struggling with the reach and height advantage of Miesha Tate. She didn't look horribly outclassed, but you could see what a difference the size discrepancy was making. That's a shame, too. Nakai is a stocky, muscular fighter who might not be able to cut to strawweight, which means she will be pretty limited in the UFC, despite being a talented fighter.
