10 Most Jaw-Dropping UFC Knockouts No One Saw Coming

9. Chan-Sung Jung vs Mark Hominick

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fthajm5m6aM Mark Hominick was once very much amongst the elite featherweight contenders in the UFC - five wins on the bounce booked him a shot at Jose Aldo's title, and after enduring all five rounds in an all out war with the Brazilian, many still believed he could make another run for gold, despite suffering a unanimous decision defeat in his first attempt. But then entered Chan-Sung Jung, The Korean Zombie had previously suffered a poor run of just one win in four fights before he merged with the UFC. However his submission of the year victory over Leonard Garcia reignited his career and set-up a clash with the Canadian. At UFC 140, Hominick looked poised to make a statement, he flew out to the centre of the octagon, but unfortunately for him, Chan-Sung Jung timed his left hand perfectly with a leaping right hook in return, landing on the button and tying the record for the UFC's fastest knockout in the process. It promised to be a fight of the night contender but instead the fans were treated to a stunning knockout victory in the blink of an eye, the loss spelled the downturn of Hominick's career, as he went on to lose his next two bouts before he retired. The Korean really left his mark.
