This pretty much seems like a battle between two names past their prime who need to retire - and that's exactly what it is. Consider this a retirement bout between Big Nog and Frank Mir. They've fought before, and Mir has twice got the better of the Pride legend Nogueira. Minotauro, however, has asked for this fight, and says he plans to fight again, despite being absolutely destroyed by Roy Nelson this past Spring. Both fighters have been in too many wars over the years, both have held UFC gold, and need to call it a day - but at least by pairing them up against each other for one last fight, you have a suitable co-main event to a card that can honour both men in the process.
