10 Reason Spurs Desperately Need Their New Stadium

7. Bigger Crowds

Spurs' new stadium will be a world class venue with a capacity of 56,250 - that's 20,000 higher than the capacity of White Hart Lane. That's good for several reasons; the first being that big players love playing in front of bigger crowds, the second being that it will mean more people getting behind the home team and the third being that it will obviously dramatically increase revenue. Basically, in the long run, a bigger stadium - which Spurs will be able to fill on a weekly basis with absolute ease, incidentally - will benefit the Lilywhites greatly. Most importantly, it will end up with them being a hell of a lot better off financially - and very little is more important than that in modern football.
