10 Reasons UFC Woman's Champion Ronda Rousey Might Lose Her Belt Within A Year
7. New Challengers Like Holly Holm
The biggest WMMA news over the summer thus far (with apologies to Rousey's sixteen second finish of challenger Alexis Davis at UFC 175) has been the UFC's signing of boxing champion Holly Holm, who is undefeated in MMA at 7-0, winning the Legacy FC women's bantamweight championship in her last outing. Holm is a serious threat to Rousey, and is a fighter who won her last match fighting with a broken arm. She's tough, skilled, and training with one of the best fight camps out there - Jackson-Winklejohn. Bethe Correia is making a name for herself and will put herself in the title picture if she beats Rousey's good friend Shayna Baszler later this month. Julianna Pena would have been up there had she not been injured, but rest assured, she will be back. Jessica Andrade has a chance to put herself in contention coming up, as does Amanda Nunes. There's more names than you realize out there, working their way towards a shot at Rousey.
