10 Tennis Players Who Could Take Over The Sport

8. Juan Martin Del Potro

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWcJehnsnoI Del Potro€™s talent has never been a secret €“ he won the prestigious Orange Bowl as a junior and wasted no time tearing up trees in the professional ranks. The Argentine won four consecutive titles in 2008 and qualified for the Tennis Masters Cup as one of the eight most successful players of the year, but it was 2009 in which he would truly make his name. Del Potro reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open and the semi-finals of the French, losing on both occasions to Roger Federer, but beat the Swiss over five sets to lift his first grand slam trophy at the US Open and break into the top five in the rankings. Sadly, Del Potro has since faced enormous struggles with injury, missing almost the entirety of the 2010 season due to a wrist problem and suffering a recurrence of the injury in February to spend a significant part of 2014 on the side-lines. Why he could take over the sport: If he can stay fit, few players can live with Del Potro€™s colossal ground strokes. In between his lengthy layoffs, he managed to regain his top five ranking and win bronze at the 2012 London Olympics, so there are reasons to be optimistic about his future. In terms of power, skill and experience at the highest level, he has everything it takes to become number one. Only his body is stopping him.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
