10 Things Ronda Rousey Must Do To Regain Her UFC Title
10. Don't Buy Into Her Own Hype
Ronda Rousey is the greatest fighter the UFC has. Ronda Rousey is the baddest unarmed woman on the planet. Ronda Rousey is the most dominant female athlete today. Ronda Rousey could beat a large percentage of the men's division if they squared off. All of those statements were uttered over the course of Rousey's rein at the top. There is some truth to a number of them: while she was never the UFC's "greatest" fighter (Jon Jones or GSP or Jose Aldo would all be in the mix), she was the most dominant female athlete in professional sports right up until the point she met Holly Holm. And there's the problem: there's always someone better, and you can't believe the hype. You also can't believe your own hype, a transgression Rousey may very well be guilty of. She certainly didn't seem to respect her opponent, and may very well have been overconfident in her own abilities.
