PSG's Adrien Rabiot was gutted to miss out on a spot in Didier Deschamps' World Cup winning French squad, even refusing to accept a spot on the reserves list, and has an uncertain future ahead of him.

The 23-year-old is highly popular with PSG's fans and highly-rated by the club's staff, but, like many of his PSG teammates, he sometimes has to settle for a spot on the bench. He started 27 Ligue 1 games last season, scoring once and offering five assists to his teammates, but could feature in a more starring role at another club, with some experts suggesting he has to make a move if he wants to earn regular call-ups to the national side.

Rumours suggest that Rabiot wouldn't mind a move elsewhere, with the Daily Mail relaying reports from Spanish media that say Barcelona are ready to offer £36 million for the young defensive midfielder.
