10 Worst Harry Redknapp Signings

4. Florin Raducioiu - Undisclosed (West Ham United)

With the Romania national team at England's Euro 96 failing to live up to their high performance at the World Cup two years earlier, the country's one and only goal came from Espanyol striker Raducioiu. Apparently this was enough to convince Redknapp that the forward was the answer to all of West Ham's scoring problems. Playing 11 Premier League games, Raducioiu managed just two goals before falling out with his manager and being shipped back to Espanyol in January. His spell in England will be mostly remembered for a shopping trip to Harvey Nichols the day before the club played Manchester United, something that reputedly infuriated Redknapp. Redknapp would go on to say that Florin got his name as he was "worth about two bob". Raducioiu's failure can really be judged by the alternatives thought by the West Ham boss to be better options. When you can't outplay Iain Dowie then there really is no place for you in the Premier League. West Ham's joint top scorer in all competitions that year was defender Julian Dicks.
