11. Paulinho (Guangzhou Evergrande)
Former Spurs man Paulinho was initially hailed as a coup by football fans and pundits alike after his
£17 million move to Tottenham back in 2013. The Brazilian's influence in North London began to fade fairly quickly, with his two Premier League goals in 2014/15 being far less impressive than the eight he managed from midfield in his debut season. Guangzhou Evergrande offered to double Paulinho's £55,000 per-week wages if he signed for them in July 2015, and Spurs duly obliged - accepting a
£9.9 million bid to send the Brazilian on his way.
