15 Reasons Barcelona Fans Are Jealous Of Real Madrid

11. Their Five Consecutive European Cup Wins

Between 1955-1960 Real Madrid won the European Cup five times in a row. They defeated Stade de Reims twice, Fiorentina, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt in each of their finals. This was a brilliant decade for the club. An extremely talented pool of players, led by Alfredo Di Stéfano, put Real Madrid at the summit of football. The team amazed the world with its spectacular brand of attacking football. Their success made the club the most decorated in Europe. It was proclaimed the 'king of kings' and it won the first edition of the Intercontinental Cup in 1960. This kind of record is something that Barcelona could only dream of achieving.
