On a two-fight win streak in 2014 and making a third trip to the cage before year's end, Oliveira (184 (1)) has picked up wins over Andy Ogle and Hatsu Hioki. He enters his fight against Jeremy Stephens ranked 14th in the division to Stephen's 10th. The winner of this is probably still around 10th, but it's still an important fight, especially for Oliveira, who would have three straight in a division quickly running out of challengers. If Conor McGregor and Frankie Edgar fail to overcome Jose Aldo, who really is left? Cub Swanson has been knocked back a step, and Dennis Bermudez had his impressive win streak snapped as well. So this is a key fight, and we'll call Oliveira to continue his momentum and take this one by decision.
