In a league which is financially dominated by the big two Real Madrid and Barcelona, the summer transfer market is notoriously a period where the rest of La Liga must utilise all of their wits to attract the quality they need for the upcoming season.

While Barcelona have already spent over 50 million euros this summer, such free-spending is but a dream for the large majority of La Liga's other inhabitants. Although, that's not to say the market poses a battle they can't win - far from it in fact. The likes of Sevilla have become renowned around Europe for their ability to consistently unearth new talents to replace their outgoing ones, and they're often not alone in patching up depleted squads to great effect.

At the same time, there are clubs who are consistently faced with doing the same task, albeit with no spending power at all. For them, shrewdness of recruitment is of more importance to anyone, and consistently makes or breaks their seasons before they have even began.

With the wide-ranging powers of all 20 top flight clubs considered, here are the five names that represent the most astute work made by sides in La Liga so far this summer...

5. David Concha - Real Sociedad

With Racing Santander being relegated from the second tier last season, the exodus of any remaining stars had been well anticipated. At the forefront of their talent pool lied David Concha; a highly exciting winger who is currently away with the Spain U19 team at the European Championship's in Greece.

Concha hasn't had to use the tournament as a platform for a better move however, as his future has already been taken care of. David Moyes' Real Sociedad were the ones to beat out a host of competitors for his signature, which eventually came at the cost of a measly one million euros.

It's been well-documented since taking over at Anoeta that David Moyes has been desperate to add a winger of the 18-year-old's profile, while Racing's relegation afforded them the opportunity to make a move which makes complete sense in almost every way for Real Sociedad.

Having signed a five-year-contract with La Real, Concha's arrival not only fills a position of real need, but brings with him potential for real longevity with the club. At the cost of just one million euros, there is little doubting that the Basque outfit have pulled off a move that will be looked back on fondly in years to come.
