Northampton Town legend. Woodman signed for the Cobblers after a disastrous spell at Exeter City where he received two red cards in just six appearances. The first came against Leyton Orient for violent conduct, while the second was for a deliberate handball outside the area when he decided to dive on the ball with both hands after a mistake following a back pass. The former United goalkeeper coach signed for Northampton in 1995 and went on to make 160 appearances in the lower leagues over the next four years.
