8 Rangers Players Who Should Be Embarrassed To Wear The Shirt

Similar to Dean Shiels, David Templeton's father claimed during the 2014-2015 campaign that his boy was regressing as a player under contract to Rangers. Outright blaming Ally McCoist for the lack of direction in David's career, the doting parent seemingly can't see what everyone else can, that Templeton has performed below par for far too long in a blue shirt.

Even if it's true that McCoist's management was bad for the player, why hasn't he kicked on since the Ibrox legend left in December, 2014? There was still a full half-season for the midfielder to prove his worth, but he didn't really perform at all, only coming into the first team side every now and then.

Once regarded as one of the most promising young players in Scotland, David Templeton only has himself to blame for how he has been frozen out of the first team picture at Rangers. Did either he or his father expect that fans would be delighted by his failures on the wing, or up front?

There's still a chance that Templeton could be rescued as a player, but he should be embarrassed by how little he contributed to Rangers last season.
