2. Geoffrey Kondogbia
Arsene Wenger has come in for criticism recently with his purchase of the much-maligned Yaya Sanago, with many detractors scoffing at the fact the 20-year-old is his only summer signing so far. But one 20-year-old who would be welcomed at the Emirates is Sevilla's exciting young prospect Geoffrey Kondogbia. The powerful midfielder has won rave reviews following his debut season in Serie A after moving from Lens, and the starlet has been on Manchester United's radar in the past. Chelsea and even Real Madrid have also shown an interest in recent times, but Wenger is hoping to beat all his rivals to the punch by landing the France international, who has already been capped at senior level for his country. Kondogbia has a
release clause of £8.5 million inserted in his current contract, which makes him nice and affordable. And he's also versatile in that he can play left-back and centre-back, which would suit Arsenal down to the ground at present given that Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny are out until September through injury and suspension, respectively.
