UEFA Champions League: Arsenal's 20 Greatest Goals

15. Eduardo v Sevilla 2007/2008

During the 07/08 Champions League campaign, Arsenal had one main threat in their group. Spanish side Sevilla had won the Europa League against Espanyol the previous season, which made them the first team since Real Madrid to win the tournament consecutively. With Arsenal winning 2-0 and dominating the game Eduardo was brought on with five minutes to go. It wasn't soon before the Croatian scored his first Champions League group stage goal. Belarusian captain Alexandr Hleb and Cesc Fabregas tore the Sevilla defence apart before the Spaniard squared the ball on to Eduardo to complete the rout.
