UEFA Champions League: Arsenal's 20 Greatest Goals

14. Robin Van Persie v Sparta Prague 2005/2006

Arsenal were struggling to overcome a stubborn Sparta Prague side. Van Persie, who had just come on for the injured Thierry Henry, scored a wonderful first goal to give his side the advantage. Fellow Countryman and Arsenal Legend Dennis Bergkamp held up the ball well before passing it to his partner. RVP weaved in and out of the Prague defence, dragging three defenders one way then the other before burying a low drive with his left foot. Arsenal went on to win the game 3-0 and comfortably qualify for the last 16.
