Chelsea Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer

This one is slightly left-field, in that Chelsea don't often sign Championship players unless they need to add extra numbers to their already 4,735-man list of loanees.

As we're all aware, though, Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is a slightly special case. He's quite clearly a Premier League (if not Champions League) standard player who has ended up in the West Midlands because his agent knows a guy who knows a guy.

The truth is that, unless this year's Championship winners qualify for Europe in their first year back in the top flight, there's a very good chance that Neves will leave them the second a bigger team comes calling.

That being the case, Chelsea are in with a decent shout of snapping him up this summer and perhaps grooming him (in a good way) to be the long-term successor to ageing maestro Cesc Fabregas.
