7. Ashley Cole (Roma)
Former Arsenal, Chelsea and England man Ashley Cole has had a terrible time since signing for Roma at the end of the 2013/2014 season and will likely be looking for a move away in January. At 35 years old he wouldn't be a long term option, but with Palace only having one recognised left-back he could serve as a more than capable back up. His know-how and trophy laden history could be invaluable in the run-in at the end of the season. Cole previously spent a few months on loan at Palace back in 2000 and quickly became a fan favourite. Would the Palace faithful welcome him back in the twilight of his career?
