Dereck Chisora Says He 'Will Shoot' David Haye After Brawl

Chisora had accused Haye of "glassing him", before repeating at least four times that he was going to shoot Haye and that; "If David don't fight me, I am going to physically burn him."

Dereck Chisora has threatened to shoot retired former WBA Heavyweight Champion boxer David Haye after the two Brits were involved in a brawl at the post-match news conference following Chisora's defeat to WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko last night in Munich. Chisora had accused Haye of "glassing him", before repeating at least four times that he was going to shoot Haye and that; "If David don't fight me, I am going to physically burn him." The incident happened after heated exchanges between Haye, Chisora and Wladimir Klitschko at the post-match press conference after Chisora put in a brave 12-round performance against Vitali Klitschko, losing on points. Chisora was mocking Haye and appeared to goad him into a future match before Chisora got up off his seat and approached him, sparking a bloody bar-room style brawl. During the physical exchange where several big blows were thrown, Haye's manager Adam Booth, was also hit and suffered cuts to his face during the scramble. German police were required at the Olympiahalle and have said they will interview both Haye and Chisora on Sunday morning. A spokesperson said; "The police have only just started an investigation in this this case. It is only at the very initial stages."
