Though perhaps most famously supported by the constantly warring Gallagher brothers, the blue side of Manchester has started to attract an eclectic range of big-name fans particularly since the upturn of the club's fortunes in the last decade.

Then-City captain Vincent Kompany couldn't hide his excitement posting a photo of the pair on social media, having likely already inquired about whether Chan would be interested in partnering him at centre half.
