Fantasy Premier League Tips: 10 Last Minute Players You Should Consider

4. Danilo

Club: Manchester City

Cost: £5.5m

Despite spending more money than 47 different countries on defence this year (no, seriously), Manchester City face a minor selection crisis ahead of the big kick-off. £52m man Benjamin Mendy looks set to miss their opening game against Brighton, and while there are a couple of options to fill his spot at left wing-back, Danilo looks the most likely option.

Though a right-sided player by trade, the Brazilian has occupied that role for Real Madrid before, and this is an ideal fixture for him to get his Premier League feet wet. Furthermore, he has only been selected by 3.9% of managers thus, so you'll be ahead of the curve if you pick him up.

Danilo will likely lose his place when Mendy returns, and Kyle Walker is probably going to be City's first choice right-back. This may necessitate a transfer after the first few weeks, but until then, Danilo is a smart choice.
