Fantasy Premier League Tips 2014: 15 Best Point-Per-Pound Buys

6. Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur) £8m

Last Season's Points Total: 132. Christian Eriksen is the most expensive player on this list and £8 million is a lot of money, we think it will be worth it. After a highly impressive first season for Spurs in which Eriksen scored seven Premier League goals and grabbed nine assists - despite only playing in about 60% of the club's Premier League minutes - we think he will be up there with the very best midfielders in terms of points scored by the end of this coming campaign. The likes of Yaya Toure and Eden Hazard cost £11 million and £10 million respectively and if Eriksen can, as we expect him to, match those players in terms of points this season, then paying just £8 million for him will seem like a relative bargain.
