FIFA 15: Man Utd Ratings Prediction

9. Phil Jones - FIFA 14 Rating - 78

Phil Jones was used largely as a squad player last season with the centre-half managing just 23 full appearances for Manchester United in 2013-14. However, with Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic gone, Jones is expected to play a bigger part for the Red Devils this season, and started the game against Swansea City on Saturday. That's the future however, and his rating in '15 must be reflective of the season prior. There's no disputing the young England international has a bright career ahead of him, with club legend Sir Bobby Charlton once comparing him to Duncan Edwards, but Jones's limited playing time last season, coupled by a poor campaign defensively that saw United leak 43 goals (the third-worst of the sides who finished in the top seven) means his rating is unlikely to improve from last year. Like Rafael I envisage Jones will retain his rating from FIFA 14 and expect him to be pushing the low eighties once more in its upcoming sequel. Former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson once said the centre-back could one day become United's "best ever player" - but he isn't there yet. PREDICTED FIFA 15 RATING: 78
