Formula One 2014 Driver Line-ups - What We Know So Far

F1 Logo 600x375 The Formula 1 season is coming to a close. With just four Grand Prix€™s remaining €˜silly season€™ has well and truly arrived. Rumours and speculation are rife, and teams are starting to announce who will be in their driver line-up for next year. The next GP for this current season is this weekend and the bwin f1 odds currently have Sebastian Vettel down as a firm heavy favourite. With Mark Webber retiring and Kimi Raikkonen leaving Lotus for Ferrari there is certainly going to be fair amount of movement in the market. Teams like Sauber who are struggling for funds might have to resort to signing paid drivers and others like McLaren might want a more experienced driver to take over from a relative rookie. While we don€™t know exactly what every team will look like next year, we€™ve looked at all the reports and stories to put together a summary of who might be racing for them in 2014.

Red Bull

Current Drivers: Sebastian Vettel / Mark Webber Confirmed Drivers: Sebastian Vettel / Daniel Ricciardo It should come as no surprise that Sebastian Vettel is set to remain at Red Bull until at least 2015. He signed a contract extension earlier in the season to confirm his position. Considering the success he and Red Bull Racing have had together, it would make little sense to leave the team now. He should still have plenty of time left in his career if he wants another challenge in a new team at some point. We also know that Mark Webber is leaving Formula 1 after 12 years and will be racing with Porsche in the World Endurance Championship. The most talked about replacements for Webber included Kimi Raikkonen, Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-‰ric Vergne but it was the Australian who got the nod and was promoted from Red Bull€™s junior team, Toro Rosso.
