Liverpool Transfers: 5 Last-Minute Signings Klopp MUST Make
3. Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund)
Another player who turned down the chance to move to Liverpool in the past, Pulisic almost came in Anfield in the summer of 2016, ahead of Jurgen Klopp's second season in charge.
Since that failed move, the American has established himself as one of the best young talents in Europe, scoring 12 goals in 97 appearances for Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund are a brilliant club for developing players, but the argument could be made that a move to Liverpool may be required for Pulisic to take that next step in his career.
German insider Raphael Honigstein thinks the Reds may well try and agree a 'future deal' for Pulisic, similar to the one they struck for Naby Keita last season, but with just two years remaining on his contract, Dortmund may be tempted to cash-in on the 19-year-old while they still can.
