Man City 0-1 Chelsea - 5 Things We Learned

1. City Miss Sergio Aguero

As for Manchester City, they desperately missed their talisman Sergio Aguero here. City peppered the Chelsea goal with 25 shots, and had chance on top of chance to get something out of this game, and perhaps might have done with more accurate finishing. Of those shots at goal, a paltry three hit the target as the Premier League's most deadly attacking force was made to look impotent against its best defence. City, who have scored 68 league goals this season, failed to score in a home league match for the first time since November 2010 here. And their squalor in front of goal can largely be pinpointed to the absence of Aguero, who would likely have gobbled up one or two of the countless chances the Citizens created. Aguero is out for a month and that could be costly for his side's title hopes this season if this game was anything to go by. City need to rediscover their shooting boots - quickly.
