Man City Transfer News: Scott Sinclair To West Brom?

sinclair Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair could be set for a move to West Brom this summer, according to The Sun. The Baggies want the former Swansea flier on a season-long loan deal, a proposal City are considering. Sinclair's move to the Etihad from the Liberty Stadium last summer has proved to be something of a disaster with the 24-year-old England hopeful only making 11 Premier League appearances for the Sky Blues last season. Now, West Brom are keen to end his nightmare stay, though could face competition from Everton, whose boss Roberto Martinez worked with Sinclair during his loan season at Wigan in 2009/10. The former Chelsea star, who has spent loan spells at six different clubs including Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham throughout his short career so far, has never been given a chance at City following his £6 million move last August. He played only a handful of games and ended up finishing the 2012/13 campaign on the sidelines following a blood clot in his arm. City have since strengthened in their wide areas, with new manager Manuel Pellegrini signing Jesus Navas from Serie A outfit Sevilla. And that acquisition is likely to restrict Sinclair's opportunities at the Etihad even more next season if he stays.
