Man City Transfers: 8 Players Pep Guardiola Will Bring To Etihad

10. John Stones (Everton)

He might represent a massive transfer fee - with the Daily Mirror quoting a fee of £50m - but it's not like City would struggle to open their purse. For that amount, they would be bringing in arguably England's most hotly rated rising star, who - at just 21-years-old - has all of his career ahead of him and the potential to go on and cement himself at the heart of a perennial title challenger and the England team. Stones would be mad to move away from England now, and with City desperately needing defensive reinforcements to make the back of their team as strong as their frontline can be at home. Obviously Chelsea's interest has been widely reported, but with them currently struggling at the lower end of the league, Stones would be better served only considering a Champions League club for his next move.
