Man City vs Everton - 5 Reasons Why Toffee's Undefeated Streak Is About To End

The early kick off on Saturday will see Everton travel to the Etihad stadium to face a Man City side licking their wounds after a midweek mauling at the hands of the mighty Bayern Munich. The 3-1 result doesn't fully do justice to the convincing display against the English side who had few positives to take from Wednesday's match. The Germans were steady and assured in defence and going forward they showed the kind of form which has resulted in them sitting joint top of the Bundesliga with Dortmund, last year's Champions League finalists. Everton have found themselves in inspired form and currently occupy 4th place, a mere point about Chelsea who are sat dispiritedly in 5th place, a far cry from the start Jose Mourinho would have wished for. Impressive wins over Newcastle, Chelsea and West Ham were certainly not expected of Martinez's side having lost the influential Fellaini to Manchester United right at the end of the transfer window.
