5. Cristiano Ronaldo vs Rafael
There is no doubt the player most people will be excited to watch in this clash is Ronaldo. One of the top players in the world and probably one of the most exciting to watch, Ronaldo could have a huge say in who wins this match. With the world watching more than usual with Ronaldo up against his former club he will be looking to put one over on his past employers. With Ronaldo expected to start on the left flank the man given the almost impossible mission of keeping him quiet will be Rafael. The Brazilian full back has had an impressive year. He has not given the ball away in the defensive third this season and has won well over half of his ground battles. If Manchester United hope to have any chance of winning this match he will have to carry on this form but it wont be easy. Ronaldo has 34 goals in 39 games this season and as everyone in football is fully aware, (if you are not you must have been living under a rock,) Ronaldo has probably only been second to Lionel Messi in world football this season. If Rafael is at his best he may be able to keep Ronaldo relatively quiet and if he can stop the Portuguese magician Manchester United may go some way to winning the tie with Madrids main goal and creativity threat countered.
