2. Carlos Vela
The diminutive Mexican never quite made the grade in England. While he produced the occasional moment of brilliance, Vela never did enough to convince Arsenal bosses that he was worthy of a place at the club. The same cannot be said about the winger's time in Spain. Vela was in brilliant form for Sociedad last season, providing 14 goal and 12 assists in 36 league games. Renowned for his turn of pace and composure in front of goal, United must be wary of allowing the Mexican space to run in behind. Vela can play anywhere across the front three, but he is most likely to start on the right allowing him to cut in and shoot with his left foot. Indeed, this was a familiar sight last season. Vela will have a point to prove tonight on his return to England, determined to show Arsenal that they were wrong to let him go. The Mexican will be pivotal for Sociedad's game plan tonight, providing them with an outlet as they look to counter attack the English Champions.
