New Man City Manager: 5 Replacements For Roberto Mancini

3. David Moyes

Moyes David Moyes is one of the most promising young managers in club football. The 49 year old has enjoyed a solid first half to the season with Everton so far, guiding the Toffee's to fifth in the table. Despite operating with a shoestring budget throughout his career at Goodison Park, he was still able to lead his side to Champions League qualification for the first time in their history in 2005, and reach the FA Cup Final in 2009. He was the 2003, 2005 and 2009 League Managers Association Manager of the Year and is currently the third longest serving manager in the Premier League, behind Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and Arsenal's Arsene Wenger. Moyes has long been tipped as the long term successor to Ferguson at Old Trafford, but with the veteran Scot showing no signs of being willing to relinquish his post for the foreseeable, Moyes could find himself a job at the Etihad. When you look back on what he has achieved so far in his ten years at Goodison with very little, just imagine what he could do with Sheikh Mansour's billions.
