5. Centre Back Steven Taylor (Man United Rating 8.5)
Steven Taylor looked fit, calm and impressive during the Manchester United game and will have given Steve McClaren a selection headache for this weekend's game against Arsenal. I think it would be unfair to drop either centre half from last weekend's game and although that means Chancel Mbemba may miss out it represents the Magpies' healthy squad depth.
