4. Da'Rick Rogers- WR- Tennessee Tech
Da'Rick is a stud. He is everything you could ask for in a wide out. Big, 6'3" and 203 pounds, and his hands are huge 9.5" hands. He is a Greg Little and AJ Green clone. The NFL.com scouts absolutely rave on his ability to go get the ball. He can control that big body, much like AJ Green. That big muscular frame allows him to avoid being tackled very easily. No arm tackles and no mini DBs are going to bring him down. However, he has set backs. The off-field issues are killing Da'Rick. He was a Tennessee Volunteer and was slated to be a top 10 pick. He was arrested and forced to transfer for his senior year. He has also been cited for lack of effort on field and a lack of effort if he isn't getting his way. He seems much like Randy Moss, T.O., and Ocho-Johnson (or whatever he has deemed himself this week). That isn't bad company for him though. All of the mentioned 'Princess-Recievers" have had big time success. T.O and Moss are surefire Hall-of-Famers. If you can get a grip on his emotions and control him off-field, you may have a diamond in the rough. In 2011 at Tennessee, against an SEC schedule with a lack-luster Volunteer team, he had 1,040 yards on 67 receptions for 9 touchdowns. Big time stats for the big guy, especially since he was double covered the entire season. Teams like New England, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Baltimore are very much in this mix. New England needs a big time deep threat, Cincinnati needs a viable number two, Pittsburgh is run down and in need of anyone willing to play for less than $20 million a year, and Baltimore gave up Anquan Boldin for a dozen eggs and a sack of flour. Other teams that could threaten are Minnesota and Green Bay. Green Bay needs to replace Greg Jennings and Minnesota is trying to stack the offense, so, maybe, Christain Ponder can play QB. Overall any team willing to go get him between rounds 5-7 will be gambling, but, could break the casino with this one. He has beast mode potential and will be talked about for years if he matures up.
