Ever since Tottenham brought him in from MK Dons for just £5 million in 2015, Dele Alli has experienced one of the most meteoric rises in recent football history. Along with Eric Dier, Alli has risen from newcomer and youngster, to not only one of Spurs' most important players, but one of England's as well.

The 22 year old already has 23 England caps to his name, the most impressive of which came in England's now famous comeback win against Germany in 2016, pulling the strings going forward, and earning the Man of the Match honours.

Even if Alli is not scoring goals he is creating them, and will be threat to any defence he plays against. With Jordan Henderson and Eric Dier playing more defensive roles, Alli will have the freedom to attack his opponents at will, and it wouldn't be surprising if the former MK Dons man picks up a goal or two before the tournament is over.
