Despite having a fantastic first season at Manchester United where he scored an impressive 27 goals, somehow everything seemed to go pear shaped for Romelu Lukaku. The Red Devils wanted the Belgium international out of their squad this summer and they got their wish when he signed for Inter Milan for an incredible €74 million.
The 26-year old should've been the answer to United's striker woes. However, a season filled with poor performances and a change in manager made sure that Lukaku's time in Manchester ended quicker than anyone hoped for or expected.
While it didn't work out for Lukaku at Manchester United, the Belgian international should light up Serie A with the same qualities that made him such a dangerous threat in the first place. Lukaku is the sort of physical menace that can cause defenders in the Italian league all sorts of problems.
