Real Madrid Transfers: 5 Players They Should Sell This Summer

3. Lucas Vazquez

Perhaps one of the more controversial picks for this list is Lucas Vasquez. He has been an influential figure in Real Madrid's senior squad over the past couple of campaigns, but major interest from a variety of European clubs will undoubtedly have knocked his focus. Arsenal have even reportedly offered him a deal that would see his wages tripled.

Vazquez has been at the Bernabeu his entire career, having made appearances for both the C team and B team before finally being selected to play in the senior squad. He also had a successful loan spell with Espanyol in the 2014/15 season.

Vazquez is now 27-years-old, which some people regard as a player's peak. The decision he faces now is whether he should stay with Real Madrid for a few more years, despite the fact he's won everything there is to win with the club, or seek a move elsewhere, specifically to a team like Arsenal, which would provide him with Premier League football as well as the chance to live in London.

Ultimately, though, the final word lies with Real Madrid, and it's unlikely that they'd want to part with Vazquez this summer. But, as stated above, the flattering offers from top clubs around the world will undoubtedly affect him on and off the pitch. Do Real Madrid take the gamble by keeping him, or get as much money for the winger as they can now?
