Sunderland Pursue Loan Deal For Man United Star
Dick Advocaat's transfer window is far from over.
Sunderland are in talks with Manchester United over the possibility of a loan deal for Adnan Januzaj, the Sunderland Echo understands. The 20 year old Belgian exploded onto the scene in 2013/14, but has since found his first team opportunities limited under Louis van Gaal. It's likely that a season-long loan on Wearside would see Januzaj play a far more important role, given the relative dearth of creative, attack-minded players in his mould. Dick Advocaat's midfield revamp may not end with the capture of Januzaj. Leroy Fer and Yann M'Vila are thought to be rapidly approaching a medical, and the trio would bring Sunderland's newcomer tally to seven - the Black Cats having already bolstered their ranks with Adam Matthews, Sebastian Coates, Jeremain Lens and Younes Kaboul.
