Sunderland Transfers: 7 Players To Replace Connor Wickham

7. Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers)

Oldham-born Scottish international Jordan Rhodes has been at the top of his game for three years now. Since joining Blackburn Rovers in 2012, he has notched 73 league goals in 134 appearances, an excellent return. A move away from Ewood Park has been rumoured, with Middlesbrough seemingly favourites to sign the forward according to Gazette Live. However, a move to the Premier League wouldn't be out of the question for a player of Rhodes' caliber. Still only 25, he is tall, strong, and possesses a keen eye for goal. The only drawback would be his lack of Premier League experience, having spent the majority of his career in the Championship. There's no question that the Blackburn man would be a risk, but he could prove to be a worthwhile one.
