Sunderland's 10 All-Time Premier League Goal Scorers

6. Adam Johnson (2012-2016) - 19 Goals

Though now without a club having recently pleaded guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child and another of grooming, Adam Johnson used to have the world at his feet. He arrived at Sunderland in 2012 as a Premier League winner and fully-fledged England international, with the fans taking to him immediately. Johnson then stepped up and became a Sunderland icon - netting goal after goal against local rivals Newcastle United during an ongoing run of six consecutive derby wins. His reputation has been largely dented by ongoing legal investigations, though the winger remains Sunderland's 6th highest Premier League goalscorer with 19 goals.
