1. There IS A Power Shift Occurring In North London
Spurs didn't dominate this match by any stretch of the imagination, but that's not really the point.
Form tends to go out of the window in North London derby games and all other factors that usually determine the outcome of a football match become near-irrelevant. But, the fact is, Spurs have been more impressive than Arsenal this season and, in a match as close as this one, Spurs would undoubtedly have capitulated in recent seasons. Spurs have a new found winning mentality and a resiliency and backbone that previous teams have distinctly lacked. They're on the up and can only improve, while Arsenal are deteriorating. There's a long way to go before Spurs can definitely lay claim to being top dogs in North London, but the power shift
is undoubtedly in process. The league table doesn't lie and neither does this result.
