UK Open victory in 2012 to prove them all wrong. For the most part of the season, Thornton has been a highly consistent performer who often surprised his opponents with his passion and aggression on the oche. This desire led him to maintain a top 4 spot for most weeks, however a recent dip in form has seen him drop out of the semi-final spots. He still has a good chance of making it to London but he has to put in strong performances in the coming weeks!
